Meet James
James is a RVTAA Certified Technician and Certified NRVIA Inspector. James grew up in central Utah enjoying the endless outdoor opportunities the area had to offer, from the beautiful desertscapes to the high mountain wilderness and everything in between. His father owned and operated a construction business that gave James an abundance of behind the scene experience of how things are put together and operate. This environment also forced him to jump into maintenance and mechanic work from a young age.
The family and business always had travel trailers used in work and play. For many years the business would operate in remote areas using a base camp for employees using RVs for lodging. This inevitably required maintenance and repairs to the various units.
In 2021 James and his family decided to “play” with the peer-to-peer RV rental business concept during the pandemic chaos. They purchased a Mercedes Sprinter class C motorhome to test the waters. Overwhelmed by the demand for that unit, it was booked continuously through that season. At the same time, it became apparent that there was a huge demand for maintenance and repair services as it was difficult to schedule at any shop or dealer for service or repair. Time constraints required James to roll up his sleeves and do the repairs and maintenance himself with the help of his wife and young son to meet the rental bookings of the motorhome. This actually sparked the idea of launching EZ Call RV Mobile Services.
The process to phase out of the 49-year-old family construction business was already in motion when James decided to launch EZ Call RV as his next business venture. James stumbled across the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) in Athens, Texas and immediately made plans to officially become a certified technician and enrolled in all of the courses and training the NRVTA had to offer. This commitment took months of dedication and James was both a Certified RV Technician through the RV Technician Association of America (RVTAA) and a Certified RV Inspector through the National RV Inspector Association (NRVIA).
